Virginia Lundgren has been writing and editing professionally since the mid-eighties. She began her career in public relations and marketing, writing a wide range of promotional pieces, including brochures, newsletters, annual reports, human-interest stories, and press releases. Up until the mid-nineties, she worked in health care and education for non-profit organizations.

In 1996, she and a colleague founded A Winning Resume, where her marketing knowledge and writing continued to serve her in winning satisfied clients immediately. After writing countless resumes and cover letters, Virginia attributes her ongoing success to the individualized service and open lines of communication she provides for her clients.

Virginia received a B.A. from California State University, Los Angeles and completed a fifth year in Education at the United States International University, San Diego. Additionally, she completed the Marketing and Copyediting programs at the University of California, San Deigo.
